Meet The Doctor:
Christopher M. Wilson, DDS
Dr. Christopher Wilson is originally from Springfield, OH. At the age of 17, he joined the United States Air Force where he was trained as a dental laboratory technician while serving his Country. This experience sparked his interest and desire to become a Dentist. Upon honorable discharge from the Air Force, Dr. Wilson completed his undergraduate work and received his Doctorate in Dentistry from The Ohio State University.
Early in his career he focused on improving the function of specific dental devices. Dr Wilson obtained two patents for his work in removable prosthetics and spent much time lecturing on this research throughout the United States and Canada. In 1994, Dr. Wilson opened his dental office in Randolph, VT where he continues to practice today.
Dr. Wilson holds great regard for continuing education. He has pursued various curriculum's in advanced education including over 400 hours of study at The Pankey Institute and the completion of the Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) and Orofacial Pain Program at the Parker E. Mahan Facial Pain Center.
Dr. Wilson is a visiting faculty member of the Spear Institute at Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. He is also the leader of a Spear Education Study Club in the Vermont/New Hampshire area. His involvement with the Spear Institute allows him to remain highly engaged with his profession while providing a platform for constant growth and inspiration through work with fellow colleagues.
Dr. Wilson understands the value of community outreach. Both locally and internationally he has given of his time in many capacities. He currently serves as a member on the Strategic Planning Board at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, VT and is an active Rotarian. He and his son recently served as participants in the Open Wide Foundation program which provides oral care to those living in impoverished communities worldwide.
Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Wilson is a professional sculptor. His knowledge of the human anatomy and his experience as a dental professional has enhanced his creativity in the area of the fine arts. Dr. Wilson also believes that his experience as a sculptor has lead to a greater level of creativity and appreciation for dentistry as a whole.
When Dr. Wilson is not practicing dentistry, sculpting or teaching, he spends time with his 18 year old son Evan. He enjoys skiing, cycling, traveling and living a life filled with good health and happiness.
